How do I extend a running campaign?
A running campaign cannot be extended. A new campaign run can be initiated if more time is required. Please follow the steps below to start a new run of an AwareEd campaign.
- Go to AwareEd > Campaigns.
- Click the “three dots” menu on the campaign and click Start.
- Select the start date and number of days the campaign should run.
- Optionally select “Reset learners’ training completion between each campaign run.” This will reset all progress for all learners including those who have completed the campaign previously. This option is provided for specific use cases but is generally not recommended.
Once a campaign is restarted, this will create a new run in the campaign. Learners who have not completed the training will be sent a new link and will receive training reminder notifications.

- Click the “three dots” menu on the campaign and then click Details.
- Click the Graph Icon in the lower right.
- Click the download option next to the overall completion (%) in the Campaign Run Details section
The downloaded CSV file will contain a column with the Training URL.
How do I send out a notification to a specific learner?

- Click the “three dots” menu on the campaign and then click Details to expand this section

How to add learners to an existing campaign?
There are two different ways you can add learners to an existing campaign. If you selected all learners, or added a learner to a group, follow the below steps:- Navigate to AwareEd > Campaigns.
- Click the “three dots” menu on the campaign to which learners should be added.
- Click on Sync Enrollment (refresh icon).
Note: Sync Enrollment should only be used when learners have been added to a group that is enrolled in training, or if All Learners was selected on the campaign.
The second way is for adding learners that weren’t part of the original group:
- Navigate to AwareEd > Campaigns.
- Click the “three dots” menu on the campaign to which learners should be added.
- Click on the Add Learners button.
- Select if you would like to add learners dynamically or individually
- Add Individual Learners: Use the search bar to look up the learner, or learners, you would like to add.
- Add Learners via Dynamic Filters: Select the field, operator, and value that you want to dynamically filter in learners by
After the learners have been added via one of the two options above, they will be added into the current run of the campaign and will receive their enrollment notification(s) shortly.
Note: When a learner is added to an existing run of a campaign, they will only have the remainder of the campaign to complete their training. In other words if a learner is added on day 25 of a 30 day campaign then they’ll only have 5 days to complete training.

Excluding Learners from a New Hire Campaign?
Pre-Built New Hire campaigns dynamically add learners as they are brought into the Infosec IQ platform by looking at their Infosec IQ Start Date. If you are using the CSV upload tool to update your learner list and would like to exclude some from the campaign, follow the below:
When compiling your sample_learner upload, you will see a new field, Infosec_IQ_start_date, this is the criteria used to add learners to the New Hire campaign. For learners that should be excluded, populate this field with any date from the past, and these learners will not be recognized as New Hires. For any learners that should be added to the campaign, leave this field blank and today’s date will fill in.
